Media & Credential Policies

Media Credentials

Members of the media who wish to cover the Cure Bowl may apply for credentials by clicking here. The Cure Bowl will ask the media relations directors of the participating schools to review the list of applicants on all credential requests, with applicants subject to final approval by the Orlando Sports Foundation.

Media members who have been approved may pick up their credentials on gameday. Credentials will NOT be mailed. Gameday Media Will Call will start at 12:30 p.m. at Gate 17.

Media Parking

A limited number of parking passes are available. Parking passes may be applied for during the credential application process and must be picked up prior to arriving at FBC Mortgage Stadium. There are no mobile parking passes.

Frequency Coordination

All media must frequency coordinate all wireless devices used anywhere on the stadium property whether it be pregame, during the game or postgame. Coordination includes all microwave transmissions, wireless microphones, IFB, two-way radios, etc., exclusive of cell phones. An email reminder will be sent to all credentialed media with the information of the GDC.

Interviews

Participating schools are asked to make their players and coaches available to the media throughout bowl week. Interview availability and practice schedules for players and coaches will be supplied by each school’s media relations department. The Orlando Sports Foundation will provide updated practice information via email once confirmed.

Postgame Interviews

Each team will receive a 10-minute cooling off period. Following the 10-minute cooling off period, the head coach and at least one player from the runner-up team will be made available inside the press conference room at FBC Mortgage Stadium. After the runner-up team’s appearance, the winning head coach and at least two players will be available. One of the players will be the game’s Most Valuable Player. No interviews are permitted on the field after the game, except for the ABC broadcast and live radio with contracted broadcast rights. All other postgame player availability will be up to the respective schools.

Internet/Statistics

The press box at FBC Mortage Stadium is equipped with wireless internet and wired ethernet connections at each seat. Media will be given a passcode for wireless use on game day. Statistics will also be accessible from any laptop in the press box. A website will be distributed prior to the game for those interested.
